Position: Build Engineer
Location: Silver Spring,MD
Type: 6+ months contract
Job Description:
Design, develop, implement and support build and release automation solutions.
Provide support to make developers build and releases as close to being fully automated as possible.
Monitor and administer the automated build and continuous integration process to ensure correct build execution and help facilitate resolution of failures.
Help maintain documentation of the build/release life cycle.
Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
4+ years of Build and Release engineering experience. Experience developing Java WebSphere Unix based applications.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Strong knowledge of SubVersion (source code control), Jenkins (continuous integration), and Gradle (Build Automation).
