Job Title: Salesforce Business Analyst

Location: Needham | MA

Start Date: Immediate

Duration:  6 Months Contract

 

 

Job Description:

 

The Sr. Business Systems Analyst (BSA), working in conjunction with the Project/Program Manager, helps to facilitate the solution of business challenges.  This role works collaboratively with the business and IT delivery teams to define business need; understand, evaluate, and design solution requirements; translate requirements into technical specifications; provide support to development, QA, and other resources throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).  The Sr. BSA must be able to perform job functions in an independent manner to provide leadership and drive collaboration across disciplines in all solution development related activities.  This role is critical in the process of delivering integrated business and information solutions to meet stakeholder needs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Facilitate discussions with business groups to help stakeholders define their needs and translate these needs into quantifiable business requirements.  Defines current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) scenarios (processes, models, use cases, user stories, plans, and solutions).  Build consensus among stakeholders to validate and finalize the requirements.

·        Identify and analyze simple to complex business processes that require change/improvement; effectively extract and document both system-agnostic and functional business requirements; review and present requirements and designs to development team and business to ensure alignment of design activities with project goals.

·        Serve as technical lead to ensure all design questions are answered; incorporate appropriate feedback into design iterations; provide technical design guidance and mentor developers on moderately complex items.

·        Serve as a liaison between business groups and IT development to clarify requirements, review recommendations, and answer questions.

·        Work with IT development team to ensure requirements are properly translated into technical specifications that meet the business needs.  Assist IT development team through design, test, and deploy to ensure any issues are resolved.

·        Work with QA team to develop and refine a master test plan that traces business requirements throughout the SDLC; provide assistance to business for creation of user stories and test cases, as needed.

·        Work with Project/Program Manager to ensure all project communications are properly executed

·        Act as a change agent to help ensure that the newly implemented system/process enhances the success of the project and increase the project's chance of meeting the business needs.

·        Understands SDLC and both waterfall and agile methodologies.  While working on a project, be able to communicate status of deliverables and timelines to interested parties proactively.  Able to document issues thoroughly, maintain current status, and escalate issues appropriately.

·        Able to perform gap analysis of requirements against out-of-the-box application/system functionality and suggest best practices solutions.  Consult with Technical Architects, Fellows, and/or Principals within the organization and incorporate feedback into design deliverables.

·        Able to develop and present findings for iterative prototypes, proof of concepts, and case studies.

·        Able to perform root-cause analysis of requests, resolve the underlying problems, and test fixes; serve as a point of escalation for requests.

·        Will be able to do some level of Salesforce configurations

·        Will test functionalities, manage issues, and communicate to development team.  Facilitate weekly or monthly meetings with business groups and development team on status updates, issues, solutions, etc.

·        Able to independently manage small projects as needed

 

Preferred Background

·        Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field

·        5-7 years of experience as a Business System Analyst supporting professional services organization process and systems (Salesforce.com, Oracle Project Accounting, and Order Management systems)

·        3-5 years of relevant experience in Salesforce.com

·        Extensive written and oral communications skills a must

·        Ability to work with global teams a must

·        Salesforce.com certified Administrator preferred

  3. Placówki opiekuńcze dla najmłodszych dzieci to żłobki, których niestety w naszym
    kraju bardzo mocno brakuje. Możemy zauważyć, że obecnie niestety stawia się na działania, które z
    czasem okazują się nieracjonalnymi. Takie właśnie były
    likwidacje masowe żłobków w momencie, gdy nie cieszyły się takim zainteresowaniem.
    Trzeba było się jednak spodziewać, że w momencie,
    gdy przyjdzie wyż okaże się, że takie placówki są znowu
    konieczne.

    W tym momencie funkcjonuje w naszym kraju żłobki to w dużej mierze placówki, które
    działają w ramach prywatnych. Osoby, które szukają dochodowego interesu
    decydują się na to, by pójść w takim kierunku
    i osiągają bardzo dobre wyniki finansowe. Zauważyć możemy, że jeśli chodzi o żłobki prywatne starają się one walczyć o dzieci.
    Wprowadzane są dodatkowe zajęcia, w których dziecko może
    uczestniczyć i dzięki temu się rozwijać.

    Ostateczna decyzja o tym jaki żłobek wybrać dla swojego dziecka zawsze zależy jednak
    od rodziców, którzy to bardzo dobrze muszą sobie
    wszystko przemyśleć i podjąć decyzję w sposób racjonalny.

    Jedynie w ten sposób można być pewnym, że
    dziecko otrzyma wszystko to najlepsze co jest mu potrzebne do rozwoju.
    Dodatkowo również można zadbać o to, by dziecko było pod opieką takich pedagogów, którzy już pracowali w
    żłobkach. Najczęściej takie osoby są zdecydowanie lepiej przygotowane do pracy i wiedzą jak dobrze zająć się dzieckiem, które nie ma jeszcze ukończonego 2 roku życia,
    niż osoby które wcześniej pracowały tylko i wyłącznie w przedszkolu.
