PeopleSoft Functional Analysts (2 positions)
Location: NYC and CT
Duration: 6+ Months
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :The PeopleSoft US Functional support works within the US Finance departments reporting to the US functional lead. The role also requires a significant amount of technical expertise related to Microsoft Excel and nVision reporting.
Candidate must have:
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong command MS Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, Excel VBA) and PS nVision
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Ability to resolve problems, either individually or by coordinating with finance and technical support team.
Capable of outlining specifications for system enhancements
Documentation, training, ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Communicate global standards and initiatives
PeopleSoft Functional skills (7+ years of experience):
General Ledger
Multi-Currency Processing
Consolidations
Accounts Receivable
Billing
Project costing
Expertise with Vision report design and development
Expertise with general configuration concepts:
Chart field setup/combo edits
Business Unit setup
Eliminations/ ,equitization
Allocations
Tree configuration
Multi-Ledger
Multi-Currency
Accounts Receivable
Billing
Project costing
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
(education level, licenses, certifications):
SPECIAL SKILLS
(computer languages, foreign languages, etc.):
B.A. in Accounting or equivalent work experience
CPA or parts passed a plus
Financial Services Industry Experience a plus
Expertise with MS Excel
Ad-hoc PS query analysis.
Vision report design
