Role : QA Lead
Location : Des Moines, IA / Minneapolis MN/ Charlotte NC
Duration : 18+ Months
GC and Citizen
Rate : $45/hr on c2c
7+ years IT quality assurance and systems/application testing experience .
Additional Notes from the Hiring Manager:
· Manual Testing experience
· Integrated Functional Testing
· Candidate needs to have been a lead for 4+ years
· Strong communication skills: Must be crystal clear with the English Language as this candidate will be on the phone much of the day.
· Agile Environment
· This role/team uses Oracle and Sql Databases.
Additional Skills:
· Ability to lead large audiences through testing calls; facilitate connectivity/integration functional testing with large groups
· Create test scripts for connectivity testing using technical documentation such as Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and/or architecture documents like System Architecture
· Create status reports for test scripts completed - Ensure scripts are aligned with key sequence diagrams/test flows created by architecture/development teams
· Ensure correct resources are available for testing; set up and schedule multiple testing meetings with large audiences (20+)
· Understand the systems and how they connect to help the testing occur
· Ability to work across multiple projects at the same time; testing may occur for all projects they are responsible for; will need to be able to schedule and multi-task
· Participates in planning meetings, review meetings of documentation
· Create Visio diagrams of test scripts to track testing progress
· Advanced knowledge of ClearQuest Defect Tracking System – know how to run queries to get defect results, details, etc. for statistical purposes
· Be familiar with HP ALM where manual scripts will be stored
· Be able to work with offshore resources, coordinate and give direction
· May create test plans for internal, project use only
· Will be the coordinator for all testing related duties for a given line of business or multiple lines of business
· Self-starter; willing to dig in and start understanding multiple systems and technologies
· Needs to understand all phases of testing – Unit, System Integration Testing, Integration Functional Testing and UAT (user) testing; Need to have performed this testing as well, like created scripts, run scripts, reported on scripts, etc.
· Fluent in MS Visio, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel
