Role: Linux Kernel engineer
Client: WIPRO/ Intel
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Experience with software development in Linux Kernel
Prior experience with implementing, debugging/profiling high-speed (10G+) packet processing / networking code in kernel and userspace
Required Skills:
· Solid understanding of production-quality Linux Kernel modules and device drivers
· Experience with developing code, gluing logic, and testing harnesses using scripting (shell, Python, etc.)
· Good understanding of modern Intel System Architecture including IO, memory, cache and virtualization technologies
· Experience with system/network performance analysis/tools (EMON, vTune, oprofile, wireshark etc.)
Preferred Skills:
· Prior development with Intel DPDK
· Experience with network traffic generators, e.g., from Spirent, IXIA and NG4T
· Programming done in Openstack environment (for OpenFlow, Open vSwitch, or SDN in general)
