We are seeking a highly motivated SharePoint Developer to provide application support and maintenance of Enterprise Search custom applications. Primary responsibilities of this role will involve supporting existing SharePoint applications using SharePoint 2013 Search, FAST or other search engines.
Need developer familiar with SharePoint 2013 Search who wants to work on the service side supporting Enterprise Search. Skills needed: .NET, Javascript, Powershell, SharePoint 2013 Search, FAST or other search engine knowledge. Should have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experiences:
SharePoint 2010 Search development/support experience
.Net
Javascript
Powershell
FAST
Search engine application integration/support
SharePoint 2010 Administration (SharePoint 2007 WSS 3.0 and MOSS are a plus)
XML
SharePoint Designer
CSS 3
Html 5
SharePoint API , SharePoint CSOM , SharePoint Workflow, Web Services- In Depth SharePoint knowledge , Infrastructure automation knowledge, Very good understanding of Windows server operating systems- Basic knowledge of Active Directory , Basic understanding of windows security-
Ability to learn and adopt to changing technologies .
Additional responsibilities & skills includes:
Strong organizational skills, SharePoint application development and integration, Document any workflows needed to support team document management processes , Define needed SharePoint views of lists and libraries and work with the content manager to have them implemented Identify needed new SharePoint content types. Populate team SharePoint pages (not sites) according to standard templates. Work with the content manager to coordinate design and information architecture activities
Document the processes and procedures related to SharePoint activities to facilitate knowledge transfer
Learn, understand and apply governance policies and procedures
Assist users with SharePoint questions and demonstrate basic SharePoint functionality
Edit all documentation for correct grammar, format, and spelling, and to ensure that the documentation
follows both the standards developed for the specific manuals and industry-wide standards.-
Work with the appropriate personnel to ensure all documentation is published to the client intranet
Be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, as well as Adobe Acrobat Professional and SnagIt.
Required:
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
