Location- Johns Creek GA, 30097

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Looking for a seasoned Data Architect to work on a strategic initiative.
- This person must be a top-level contributor specializing in the design and development of models for complex data warehousing and analytical systems.
- The candidate needs to understand the emerging technologies in Hadoop space for the building of big data warehouse and advanced analytics.
- The candidate also needs to have solid prior experience in traditional data warehousing project using RBMS or Teradata.
Mandatory skills, traits, and experience:
- Building data models, analyzing/monitoring system data quality, maintaining metadata and enforcing naming standards
- Assisting with Business cases and documenting business processes, flow charts & diagrams
- Coordination with the business community and application development to analyze business requirements and develop information models and metadata that contribute to the data architecture
- Ability to perform analytical review of data
- Clear understanding of Online Transaction processing (OLTP) and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) in a Data Warehousing environment
- Full life-cycle experience on large/complex enterprise projects
- Ability to think outside the box and to see the big picture
- Previous experience in retail industry, customer management, store operations and merchandising
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and attention to detail skills
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and easily (is flexible)
- Ability to multitask assignments
- Self-motivated and have imitative
