Position 1: Diesel Engines System / Test Engineer Senior

Location: Mossville/Peoria

Scope of Work:

Systems engineer responsible for diesel engine electrical component and software integration. Engineer will

design control and diagnostics strategies of varying complexity to meet emissions regulation and reliability

goals. Engineer will develop data link and service requirements for varying engine systems and will collaborate

with internal engine performance customers along with requirements engineers, software developers, and

validation resources. Job Scope includes validation testing of control and diagnostic strategies while utilizing

proactive Design FMEA methodolodies.

[?] Required Qualifications:

BSEE or BSME

Ability to understand and navigate c code and Simulink models

Ability to understand and troubleshoot data link messaging

Ability to use Vector based tools, oscilliscopes, voltage and current meters for design analysis and

troubleshooting

Strong Orgnizational and Communication skills

Strong electrical hardware and software troubleshooting skills

5+ years Engine domain knowledge

[?] Desired Qualifications:

Automation scripting experience

Experience with hardware in the loop simulators, dSPACE, National Instruments, etc.

Understanding of diagnostic design

Aftertreatment Knowledge
