I have a new, 6 months + contract for an Oracle BI Developer in White Plains, NY (suburb of New York City). Position description is attached. Candidate must know Oracle BI and should also be good with SQL development. Position is heavy reporting so must have experience with OBIEE. Client will hire on phone screen and/or Skype. | Major Purpose of Job: | Provide expertise in Oracle BI repository and dashboard/reporting development; participates in walkthroughs of BI solutions including design, coding, testing and documentation reviews ensuring standards and quality are met; able to work independently or in a team setting; assist in the development of task lists, and execute technical activities under the direction of a Project Manager |

Essential Job Functions: |
· Respond to information requests from business managers to provide data for and/or the results of data analysis. · Analyze, Investigate, and provide resolution of data integrity and validation issues. · Analyze, Investigate, and provide resolution of end-user reported ad hoc query and standard report issues · Assist end-users in their efforts to use the BI solution to meet their business requirements · Develop new OBIEE reports and dashboards to meet end-user business requirements · Assist business users in defining new functional and data requirements that would enhance the existing Reports. · Support implementation of new functional and data requirements by working as an integrated member of the implementation and test teams |

Requirements: |
· Minimum of 3 years' experience developing BI applications using Oracle OBIEE, including report and dashboard development. Specifically as it relates to BI Publisher reports for Oracle Primavera P6 and Oracle Primavera Contract Management BI Publisher edition. · Minimum of 3 years' experience using SQL query language to create complex queries, including creation and use of views, materialized views and data import function. · Strong oral and written communication skills. · Uses effective techniques to manage time.
