Job Title: Server Engineer- VMWare
Location: Westbend WI
Duration: 5+ Months
Summary of Responsibilities:
Under general direction, works to administer and virtual server hardware and Operating Systems. Mentors junior engineers in system administration policies and procedures. Creates and revises system administration procedures including backup/restore, patching, and availability and capacity monitoring. Updates documentation as necessary. Participates in design discussions for new system implementations, and creates designs for complex system projects. Implements new systems in accordance with published standards and tests to be sure solutions meet requirements. Drives complex system changes to resolution and completes project tasks in a timely manner. Partners with project leaders and customers to achieve successful outcomes. Works with Leadership, System Engineers and Developers to resolve incidents, and assists junior engineers with troubleshooting. Assists with troubleshooting during system outages, including providing after hours support when required. Participates in production change control and follows established guidelines for implementing changes.

• VMWare ESXi 5.1 / 5.5
• Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2 and 2012
• Windows Active Directory 2008 R2
• Citrix XenApp 5 / 6.5
• HP Blade technology Gen 7&8
• EMC VMAX and VNX
