Video Test Engineer
Work location: Atlanta, GA.
Mandatory Skills*
3-6 years Overall Experience
- Deep understanding and experience in Functional and System Testing of STBs and / or other CPEs (Customer Premise Equipment).
- Deep functional knowledge Basic and Advanced Video Applications like EPGs, VOD, PPV etc.
- Thorough understanding of the various Test cycles, types of Testing and the related processes.
Preferred Skills*
- Experience Testing DTAs
- Experience with Cisco DBDS, including DNCS/EC, QAM, QPSK, VOD Servers, etc
- Familiarity with Scripting languages - Perl, Python, VB Script etc
- Experience with video/audio testing and automation tools - WitBe OR StormTest etc
- Experience in Media, Communication Industry
- SSH
Project Details*
1) Functional Testing of Basic and Advanced Video Products on STBs and DTAs.
2) Functional Testing of Cisco DBDS System
Job Roles/Responsibilities*
- Identify and Define TCs
- Execute TCs for Functional and Performance Testing
- File and Track Defects using the Test Management System
