We have a Direct Client Requirement for you and the details are as follows
Title: QA Tester Needed- Heavy Back end tester
Location: Chandler, AZ- must be local for in person interview- (IF willing to fly in for in person then will consider)
Duration: 18+ months
Job Description:
QA Analyst – Heavy Back End tester! Strong 2008/2012 SQL- Must have all highlighted skill set below.- Really would like a candidate that has some Actimize
Looking for a senior QA (manual with QC and ClearQuest) with very very strong SQL 2008/2012 knowledge. This is a heavy back end tester. Actimize experience is a plus
Experience on 5 or more projects from requirements inception to production release.
- 5 years of experience with Mercury Quality Center or similar tool for requirements / test case tracking; experience ClearQuest
- Must have 4+ years of experience constructing/executing SQL queries with strong understanding of Oracle, DB2, SQL Server databases, with thorough understanding of database stored procedures, views, joins, and functions. - ---Experience running/testing batch commands and/or shell scripts on UNIX and Windows servers and reviewing output, logs, etc.
5+ years of experience designing test plans and test scripts. –
5+ years of experience conducting ambiguity analysis of requirements and technical specifications. –
- Experience with web services testing and understanding of standard data format (XML), communication (SOAP) and programmatic interface (WSDL).
- Proven success in testing large scale, multi-tiered, integrated systems. - Experience with testing web-based applications developed in Java or .NET framework.
- Experience with deployment and validation of build packages to test environments. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a diverse environment. - Experience leading Quality Assurance activities on one or more projects.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written in individual, group and/or executive situations.
- Candidate can clearly articulate all phases, types of testing that may be conducted within a standard development lifecycle. - BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical training/experience.
Preferred Skills: - 2+ years experience of Mainframe Development and/or Testing experience, with !
the following focus: JCL, DB2, Fileaid, VSAM, TSO - Experience with Actimize solutions is highly desired. - Experience with running/testing batch processes on Mainframe.
