 Big Data Architect needed in the New York office. 

 

 

Big Data Architect

•       Works on data management projects prioritized by the engagement manager

•       Focus on defining new enterprise data assets within the data acquisition program and defining data polices and standards using Hadoop and emerging technology data patterns

•       Responsible for defining requirements for polices, standards, and stewardship activities

•       Design strategic data integration and data acquisition capabilities

•       Drives implementation of governed solutions through the Data Acquisition Program

•       Supports new data solution incubations; "Day-1" support

•       Ensures enterprise data assets support Guardian's strategic goals

•       Gather data requirements from product management, LOB data teams, BTS data partners, and EDO center of excellence and maintains a catalog of new enterprise data assets; requirements fulfilled by the execution functions and/or LOB data and engineering teams

•       Cross-initiative data model standardization and/or striation by creating and verifying Data Acquisition Program requirements and strategy

•       User Acceptance and Regression testing requirements

•       Change and communication plan triggers
