Job Description/ Day to Day Activities | Required Skills: 10+ years of experience as Senior J2EE application Designer/Architect. 1. Participate in Requirements gathering sessions and analyze the requirements for feasibility. 2. Develop overall solution for complex functionality changes 3. Work closely with the front end business client and developers to iron out any issues in the requirements 4. Responsible for product backlogs - gathers, prioritizes and manages product requirement (product backlog) Identifies apps impacted for programs/projects Maintains an Application feature roadmap Prioritizes epics/user stories for releases based upon prioritization rules Writes Acceptance Criteria Identifies user stories and participates actively in grooming sessions Makes trade off decisions between scope and schedule in conjunction with other product owners
Skills: Java 1.5 +, XML, SOA, JSP, JSF, XML Schema Design, contivo mapping, J2EE technology, EJB 2.1 and 3.0 (Stateless, Stateful and MDB), JDBC, JNDI, Struts Framework 1.1 +, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SOAP, Web Services authoring and consumption, UML diagrams, Microsoft Office 2003+, Microsoft Visio 2003+ a plus |
