IT Senior Business Analyst - SAP AFS
Location - SFO,CA.

They need
SD in AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solution) with FICO.
Senior level IT Business Analyst to work with business partners within the OTC, Sales and Finance organizations in order to align technology solutions with business strategies and requirements. This person must demonstrate knowledge of OTC and FICO within SAP AFS and be able to communicate effectively with the business and with IT partners.
Responsibilities may vary per project. Initially the candidate will work as a Sr. BA on the B2B e-commerce project.
Drives the creation of business case and coordination of a client’s business requirements.
Communicates business solution and business case required to fulfill business requirements to senior IT and business leadership to ensure proper prioritization.
Acts as an owner throughout a solution implementation to ensure customer satisfaction. Provides status updates, escalates issues and manages leadership (business & IT) expectations
Works with business partners within one or more business unit to align technology solutions with business strategies. Demonstrates an in depth knowledge of a business area in the context of the business client’s unit to identify and communicate how IT solutions can assist.
Supports one or more complex business processes, requiring design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Participates in short- and long-term planning sessions with clients to improve business processes. Documents discussion and agreements.
Establishes liaison relationship with business partners in order to provide technical solutions. Work principally with business project management to build consensus on IT investment decisions with leaders in IT, OTC and other functions.
Manages client’s priorities of projects and requests. Works with business and IT leadership to prioritize immediate business needs and recommends options, risks and cost vs. benefits.
Accountable to deliver business value and required solution on technology implementation projects.
Reviews business requirements for the design and implementation of business solutions. Develops and assists in the presentation of business cases
Participates in end-to-end functional testing, and monitors the testing process to ensure that business results are adequately tested with minimal risk. Aligns business and IT stakeholder on discrepancies and expectations.
Investigates, resolves and escalates problems. Monitors, measures and analyzes metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and promised business value.
Promotes an understanding of IT roles, processes and activities to the business units. Supports and participates in the formal reporting of project status. Manages customers’ expectations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field specialized training or equivalent work experience.
Typically requires 7-10 years of relevant technical and business work experience.
Requires leadership skills, experience/in-depth knowledge of business operations and systems requirements processes.
OTC/FICO in SAP AFS, experience in B2B e-commerce a plus
