Job Description:

Key: T-SQL development, T-SQL script writing. give me a T-SQL STUD. Description: Expert-level SQL Server developers/architect, to work on a financial reporting project. The project focuses on scalability analysis and performance improvement for a SQL Server based financial system. Currently using SQL Server 2008/2012. For scalability analysis, work with the current team to develop test cases, prepare data sets needed for the test cases, and execute the tests. Includes coordination with the LoadRunner team, for repeatable, scalable testing. For performance improvement, analyze results from the scalability analysis, identify improvements needed in the database setup/objects, make the needed changes and re-test to verify improved results. Requirements: Very strong SQL Development and extensive experience with T-SQL. Requires minimum 8 years of large-scale SQL Server experience. Must have demonstrated experience with transaction systems scaled to at least 2,000 users and warehouse/reporting systems of at least 3TB. Requires expert knowledge of SQL Server 2005 architecture and internals, expert skills in SQL and T-SQL and demonstrated experience reading and interpreting SQL query plans and designing high-performance, parallelized database code. Must have a strong understanding of data warehouse data models. Must have strong experience resolving performance issues and developing for scalability. Candidate will create metrics to prove bottlenecks in performance and come up with new ideas to redesign. Should have architecture skills as well as design/development. Must have strong experience with data extractions and working with complex system design. Crystal Reports experience is a plus. Preference for experience in LOGIXML AND Netezza.
