Position: ETL DataStage Developer with Pl/SQL Exp :: [Locals Only]
Location: Wilmington, DE 19801
Duration: 24+ Month On-Site contract plus extension
Interview mode: Phone than F2F.
Job Description:
• Should have good experience in data warehouse application design and development.
• Should have designed or was part of implementation of one warehouse application end to end.
• Should be strong in Oracle PL/SQL skills.
• Should be strong in Datastage skills.
• Should be strong in Oracle performance tuning.
• Experience with other ETL tools is preferred.
• Experience in Unix/AIX scripting (Perl, Shell etc.).
• Should have good communication skills as the role needs the individual to directly interact with business and partners.
• Experience working in Agile delivery models.
Key Accountabilities:
• 2+ years of experience in PL/SQLs scripting and datastage
• Ability to assist with functional specifications
• Ability to create technical specifications
• Ability to support the development, testing, debugging and documentation of PL/SQLs scripts and datastage transformations in accordance with standard development practices and architectural requirements
• Ability to work with the Oracle database administrators and data modelers to resolve complex technical issues and understand system performance associated SQL statements.
• Ability to estimate work, status reports, update project plans
• Experience working in Agile delivery models and/or any standard SDLC development methodologies
• Team player
