Responsibilities:

Required:

1. Interactive Design and Front-end development
2. 3-5 years' experience in Communication Design
3. Must have 3-5 years' experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry standard graphic design applications
4. Demonstrated experience coding Web Standards compliant markup using HTML & CSS in an accessible and SEO/Analytics-friendly manner.    

Desired:

1. Experience working in a Microsoft (.Net, SharePoint) or Sitecore environment
2. Copywriting skills
3. Exposure to future web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design,
4. Experience working with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery
5. Experience building wireframes and prototypes using Axure
6. Experience with email marketing, mobile and other interactive design and implementation
7. Rich Internet Application design patterns

 

Candidate Responsibilities:

The Interface Designer is responsible for the visual design and implementation of front-end code, using Web Standards compliant markup using HTML & CSS, of both internal and external websites/web applications, and graphics.  This person will ensure that the integrity of the brand is present in all facets of the online experience, designing websites, emails, mobile applications and any external media.  Use experience and skills with visual design, typography, layout, and color theory to create visually appealing designs while adhering to business requirements, design standards and usability best practices. Create visual designs from a combination of user research, user experience artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, etc…) and functional specifications provided by Business Analysts. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, self-motivated, detail oriented, experienced in designing/manipulating photo imagery, with exceptional typography sensibility and be able to partner with the design team.  The ideal candidate will be researching new ideas to engage our online users/shoppers with compelling and interactive experiences, will research trends and keep abreast of new technologies and software.  Execution of all projects from concept to implementation.

Create conceptual designs that maintain existing branding into websites, web applications, email/other digital marketing, mobile applications and graphics.

Translate print direct pieces to websites, emails and any external media, while maintaining brand and campaign aesthetics

BA in Design or similar discipline

Strong design portfolio demonstrating capabilities, and be able to explain role within each project.

Understand usability's place in the design process and be familiar with User-Centered Design principles and methodologies

Project Details:

1. Creating and/or modifying and implementing visual design elements to various interactive properties
