Job Title: Solr Developer
Locations: Parsippany, NJ and Chicago, IL
Must Have Skills:
- 4+ years in web application design and development experience. Multi-tier architecture, integrating Search and web analytics tools
- Experience in Java/J2ee, Unix preferred.
- 3+ years of Architectural experience in large search projects
- Strong communication skills with good enterprise search background.
- Knowledge on Solr installation / configuration along with tomcat for both Windows and linux environments.
- Hands on development experience is required on Java/J2EE, Servlets, JSP, AJAX, XML, jQuery, CSS/CSS3, JSON and other web technologies
- Integration of solr with Database, filesystem and web
- Experience in indexing custom content in to Solr. CMS is preferred.
- Good knowledge on Relevancy, request and response handler customizations
- Prior experience with REST service and distributed environments.
