Relevant Experience
(in Yrs) 3- 7 yrs
Technical/Functional Skills
• Firmware testing experience. (Preferred)
• Knowledge of storage test automation, testing methodologies, and test tools.
• Systems Administrator knowledge/skills supporting Windows and Linux operating system environments.
• Expertise in the configuration and installation of common PC and storage HW.
• Storage experience including SAS/ SATA persistent storage devices (HDDs/SSDs, Disk Arrays, and Drive Shelves).
• Proficiency in scripting languages.
Experience Required 3-7yrs
Roles & Responsibilities
• Managing the automated test execution infrastructure including the installation, configuration and tracking of new resources.
• Deliver regular comprehensive process test metrics representing the quality and code coverage of the FW under test.
• Analyzing and triaging testing, performance, and quality data related to firmware products.
• Establishing working relationships with firmware development engineers to improve code quality.
• Managing FW Test resources resulting in nightly regression, and private build coverage as necessary.
Generic Managerial Skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• The ability to be a self-motivated, quality-minded team player.
• Effective organizational and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-up.
• The ability to adjust quickly to a dynamic work environment and shifting work priorities.
Education BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
