Position:- DB2 DBA - LUW
Duration: 12 Months
Location:- Philadelphia, PA
Start Date: - ASAP
Note: Mandate primary skills (3+ years on Linux/Unix Admin, knowledge on VMWARE+ Networking, around 2 years of Nosql DB exp or basic knowledge on Nosql DB)
Job Description
• 3+RDBMS experience, and at least two years' experience with Big Data databases and frameworks such as Cassandra, MapReduce, MongoDB, Hadoop (MANDATE).
• Know how far you can push a system (requests per second, total data size), and when you'll need to scale it
• Make technology decisions based on data, not hype
• Hands-on experience building large scale database applications, implementation and support
• Knowledge of modern data visualization solutions such as Tableau, spunk, dynatrace etc
• A driven and disciplined individual with a strong work ethic
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills with a collaborative attitude
• Active contributions and interaction with the open source community is a big plus
• Strong in Scripting and Automation
