Must have at least one large scale enterprise data warehouse implementation experience
• Design & develop the Data Integration framework.
• Assimilate and understand the application architecture and develop ETL components that properly integrate with it
• Create documented designs and unit test plans.
• Develop code that promotes reusability, maintainability and good, scalable performance.
• Build and execute repeatable unit & regression test cases
• Promote and deploy code using standard release management tools; must be comfortable with techniques that leverage Datastage team-based development as well as tools that operate outside of the ETL tool.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior resources.
• Support application development through system testing and user acceptance testing, bridging the gap between business rules and technical implementation when necessary
• Create production support manuals as necessary.
• Support production deployment.
• In depth knowledge of InfoSphere Information Server tools – Data Stage, Quality Stage, Change Data Capture is must to have
• Integration of Master Data Management, Reference Data Management tools if any
• Insurance Domain experience if any
• IBM IAA/IIW if any
knowledge on insurance domain
