POS Tester
Work Location Woonsocket, RI
Duration 6 months
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
• Perform POS Checkout software solution testing
• Conduct manual system integration testing of POS applications; Update test results using Quality Center
• Create new test scripts as needed in Microsoft Excel and import them into Quality Center
• Update existing test scripts in Microsoft Excel and Quality Center as needed
• Report defects found during system integration testing into the incident tracking system; Generate diagnostic files to be reviewed by developers
• Verify fixes provided by developers to software issues found during testing
• Perform software patch testing for field related issues
• Conduct performance testing
• Communicate daily testing status to management and technical leads/key developers"

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
• Prior experience in POS Testing
• Prior experience in testing IBM4690 developed application is a plus"
Total experience in required skill (years) 4+ Years
