Experience Level: Minimum 8-10 years as Windows Admin
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES – Level3 Windows Administrator
•    Windows 2000/ 2003and 2008 Server or proven equivalent experience of8-10 years
•    Strong experience in migration/consolidation projects/activities
•    Proficient in VMware virtual server technologies
•    Build and maintain server infrastructure.
•    Provide in-depth low level diagnostics on all problems or issues encountered with the infrastructure.
•    Experience in Large enterprise windows infrastructures 200+ servers
•    Experience with Active Directory (LAN Admin)
•    Experience with Microsoft Clustering
•    Patch Management.
•    Windows Server Debugging, Performance Tuning
•    Working Knowledge on DNS, DHCP and WINS
•    Recommend and document standards for all primary OS functions.
•    Develop and implement processes to automate and standardize routine engineering tasks
•    Develop detailed specifications and implementation plans for new versions of Operating systems and other Systems software.
•    Work with vendors to develop, test and implement code changes to resolve problems.
•    Monitor infrastructure security, recommend changes to tighten security and eliminate exposures to undesired intrusions.
•    Proficient verbal and written communication skills – English
•    Scripting experience in Visual Basic or equivalent
•    Basic Project management skills
•    Good verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams
•    Ability to manage competing priorities
Preferred Experience:
•    Experience with Microsoft technologies
•    Experience  with HP and Dell hardware
•    ITIL Foundation Certification
•    Experience with TSM Backups/Restores, NSI Double Take and DFS.
•    Knowledge on Storage (SAN and NAS)
•    Experience in Scripting (VBScript, Powershell or any other scripting languages)
•    Working knowledge of HIPPA and SOX requirements and methodology to mitigate exposures to maintain compliancy.
