Title: SharePoint Developer
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Duration: 6 months
The work is upgrading a package called ASITE from Sharepoint 2007 to 2013.The SharePoint Developer is responsible for gathering customer requirements, creating, and deploying customized solutions for SharePoint which have been tailored to the specific needs of client internal customers.
The developer translates customer needs into effective technical solutions using SharePoint 2007 (MOSS) out of the box technologies in addition to developed code when necessary.
Assists in analyzing client processes and/or challenges through conducting needs analysis and recommending the most effective, cost conscious solution.
Suggests and develops solutions to business problems and/or processes that leverage SharePoint 2007/ASP.NET technology to provide efficiency improvements, and better user experiences.
Trains end-users on the developed solution.
Writes documentation for requirements analysis, design specifications, user's guides, installation guides, custom training materials, project plans, etc.
Participates providing time and resource estimates.
Required Skills:
Over 5 years of experience in software industry in the following disciplines: ASP.NET developer skills (C#, VB.net, Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, etc.).
Experience implementing CSS/HTML into SharePoint.
Experience implementing SharePoint 2007 customized and out of the box solutions for multiple clients in diverse environments.
Some database developer skills (SQL Server 2000/2005) preferred.
Superior troubleshooting skills.
