Technical Skills:
7-10 years of software benchmark testing, performance analysis and measurement of
technically challenging systems
• Strong troubleshooting and reasoning skills
• Strong knowledge of HTTP load generation and measurement
software (ex: LoadRunner, VuGen, HP / Mercury TestDirector, WinRunner, WebLOAD, JMeter, Siege, Grinder)
• Familiarity with tools such as Fiddler, Firebug and JProfiler
• Proficiency with the following technologies - .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, IIS, XML, JSON, SQL, SQL Server,
We are looking for candidates with:
1. Scope performance testing efforts, prioritize test cases and develop solid project milestones
2. Design and run scalability, stability and stress tests using industry standard and custom developed tools
3. Develop testing scenarios based on current production traffic patterns and predicted future traffic
4. Design appropriately sized environments to generate adequate load to emulate various production traffic patterns
5. Analyze and summarize test results and create capacity plans/best practice guides
6. Automate test scenarios and enhance testing frameworks
7. Generate periodic reports showing current product load and performance against predicted load and target performance goals
Good To Have:
8. Guide application development teams regarding the potential solutions for their
respective applications
9. Build an overall roadmap for performance testing with the
organization evaluating different products and build a best size fit framework within the organization
10. Strong experience in n-Tier software architectures
11.
Ability to debug and resolve difficult technical problems and system bottlenecks
12. Demonstrable experience with .NET/J2EE Applications, mainly .NET applications
