Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Application Architect Senior Developer is to provide software solutions to the company. The Architect will work closely with business Units, project Manager and Development Teams to deliver Application systems design documents for assigned projects.
Major Responsibilities
· Review Business requirements to ensure they are clear, feasible, and measurable
· Design application system architectures
· Participate in the project development
· Conduct code reviews and provide support to developers
Required Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- More than 8 years of development experience in java EE applications, and Web services
- More than 3 years of software system design experience in accredited companies
- Worked at least on 2 full lifecycle deployments
- Working experience in OOP designs, J2EE patterns, application design patterns, service design patterns, UML modeling, and data designs
- Hands-on Experience in Java, XML, Spring, Struts, JMS, ESB, SQL, IBM Portal and other web Technologies
- Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Windows, WebLogic, WebSphere, Network Configurations, Service Clustering, Oracle DBMS, LDAP, and Eclipse.

General Job Description
The resource will be working on data feeds and automation of Branded Retail Store Commissions project. Develop new ETL jobs to feed data between various corporate systems across multiple projects and automation.
Job Skills Required:
Five or more years experience of BI related experience in developing full life-cycle implementations, support, and upgrades in the following:
o Experience with DataStage ETL tool, EDI files, FTP files data transfers, SFTP is preferred.
- Relational database experience (SQL, tuning, optimizer, relational concepts) Oracle specific and PL/SQL skills.
- Unix Shell Programming for scheduling, file manipulation etc.
- Candidate must possess demonstrated technical leadership capability.
- The candidate must have experience as a significant developer on at least two data warehouse full life cycle implementation.
- Must be able to develop the detailed project plans and technical specifications for ETL module design, development, testing, and implementation.
- The candidate should have excellent knowledge in extraction, cleansing, and modification of data from/to various data sources.
- Must be able to perform table and interface design, development of logical and physical data model/database, ETL process, BI reporting/OLAP cubes/OLAP reporting, and population and tuning of databases/ETL processes/BI reports/queries while meeting business/user requirements.
- Strong knowledge in OLTP/OLAP systems, Normalized (OLTP), Demoralized (DW and ODS) models, dimensional strategies, star schema and snow flake schema.
- Must be able to verbally communicate business and technology concepts and tops fluently in English.
- Must be able to write English documents that communicate complex business and/or technology concepts in a clear, organized and concise manner.
