Senior Teradata developer with informatica experience
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
• 6+ years of experience in the field of Data warehousing
• 5+ years of experience with Teradata
• 3+ years of experience in leading and mentoring team at Architect level
• Advanced SQL coding skills
• Solid understanding of Data Modeling concepts
• Technical team management experience including offshore team members
• Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Retail related data warehousing experience a plus especially informatica
Roles and responsibility
ü Need BA capability to interact with users and IS to collect requirements and transform them to technical requirements.
ü Work with the application development teams throughout the development life cycle
ü Lead or participate in Proof-of-Concept projects
ü Stay current with emerging industry trends
ü Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks
ü Create MSTR Preliminary and Detail design document based on the business requirement
ü Create/Update teradata schemas as per the requirements
ü Good written and oral communication
ü Explain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions
ü SQL knowledge and performance tuning experience needed
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
Work with different teams – Business, Solutions – BI, Portal and team of Architects to create overall BI user interface.
Experienced in Informatica
