Job Description:
As a member of the Business Analytics (BA) team reporting to the BA Manager, this position will work directly with the business community and the information technology groups to develop key performance indicators, metrics output, and other reporting requirements to the business community. A primary responsibility of this position is to organize and drive a functional strategy for information outputs (KPIs, Dashboards, Mobility, etc.) with their business counterparts and provide leadership for the technical teams to execute to their strategy. Another key responsibility will be to transfer knowledge to the business community on leading practices in the Analytics world to provide leadership around Predictive Analytics and Big Data. This key position will work with cross-functional teams and be responsible for gathering requirements and ensuring integrity of information output from the data sources (e.g., SAP) through the various delivery channels (e.g. Web).
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
· 10 years working in an Analytics environment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Demonstrated executive level collaboration and strategic design/critical thinking
· SAP ECC 6.0 and BI 7.0
· Master and Reference Data understanding and troubleshooting for output differences (reconcilable and verifiable data analysis)
· Knowledge of interfaces between modules in SAP and understanding of underlying business processes producing the data output
· Cross functional team member collaboration and problem solving
· Firm understanding of development, test, production environments and transport methodology
· Reporting analysis and design with supporting documentation and the ability to transfer knowledge
· Ability to work in a global, culturally diverse environment
· 4 year degree preferably in accounting or some other business area
· Self-directed with ability to multi-task
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for consulting with business partners on business needs, translating business needs into analytics/reporting requirements, and interfacing with partners and other teams to ensure successful delivery of client reporting
· Developing new BA services offerings, content creation, value propositions, and technology approach
· Duties and functions of the position include developing, packaging and delivering new service offerings related to business analytics and encompass a clearly defined value proposition
· Analytical competency with strong data and pattern modeling skills
· Differentiate custom requests and create simpler methods of information outputs
· Understand the conceptual, logical and physical data models necessary to support the analytic data requirements
