Java Developer with HL7 expertise
Location: Waltham, MA
Duration: 6+ Months
Must have Green Card/Citizen
Required Skills:
· Detailed knowledge about HL7/IHE/NHIN interoperability standards
· Detailed knowledge of HITSP and related terminology standards
· Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE and XML
· Experience with Service Mix Assembly and Soap Services
· Proficiency writing and optimizing SQL statements, using relational database
· Excellent communication, writing, organizational and people skills
· Ability to work in a dynamic environment that values innovation within small autonomous teams
· Ability to mentor associates and interact well with clients, peers, supervisors and team members
· Proactive, self-starting with exceptional multi-tasking ability
· Superb time management skills and ability to work under time constraints with great focus on quality, completeness and delivery schedule
· BS in Computer Science or equivalent
· 3+ years experience in software development, solving complex problems
Desired Qualifications:
· Healthcare interoperability terminology standards mapping experience
· Quality assurance experience
· Knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration
· Knowledge of Oracle and/or SQL Server database administration
· Experience with Apache Tomcat or other J2EE server administration
· Troubleshooting experience via system and server logs
