• Must have strong, senior-level knowledge of Siebel Architecture and In-depth knowledge of Siebel 8.1 Administration with recent experience
• Strong experience in Unix/Linux/Solaris with shell scripting. AIX experience is required
• Must have knowledge of Oracle databases and able to write/modify SQL queries
• IIS web server administration and load balancing concepts knowledge is required
• Need to know performance tuning concepts and problem (memory leak) areas
• Must have good technical, analytical and trouble shooting skills
• Must be pro-active in monitoring various servers/components
Expected Responsibilities:
Resolves hardware, software, network, and server issues Designs, maintains, and performs system integration.
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert on systems problem resolution and tools.
Identifies and recommends process improvements to minimize hardware or software challenges. Provides end-user support, where appropriate.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Handling code and data refreshes for various releases.
Compiling developed code in Development and Sandbox environments.
Code Deployment – Daily to Dev, Sandbox, and other non-Production environments
Applying technical notes – including LOVs, workflows, system preferences, PDQs, profiles, user preferences, parameters, email templates, views, responsibilities, positions and many more. 5. Sync code and tech release notes in all environments throughout SDLC.
Add/modify employee/user records and setup of developer environment.
Primary contact for app dev and QA teams, liaison between DBT and MQ teams.
Closely work with Windows and AIX teams to maintain Windows and AIX servers.
Respond to email alerts, file system space issues and setup alerts on Siebel/AIX servers.
Execute, monitor and troubleshoot data executions and data loading jobs.
Resolve Siebel Test SN requests and Quality Center Defects on priority basis.
