SAP Business Analyst

Job Description:
• Understanding business requirements and working closely with the customer to develop them into functional requirements
• Helping with queries related to SAP navigation, usage of SAP business processes and transactions related to SAP SD module for the customer
• Helping resolve simple problems reported by the customer related to SD
• Be able to coach/ train the customer on the standard reports available for SD that helps them do their day to day job better
• Be able to help the customer users on simple queries related to other SAP modules too - eg how to pull up a report, how to look for a transaction code etc
Skill Sets Required:
• 2 - 3 years in assigned SAP module(s) – SAP Sales and Distribution.
• Prior functional work experience in required in Sales/ Distribution/ Marketing functions
• Very good knowledge of sales/ marketing business processes required
• Expertise in Order to Cash (OTC) Process.
• Experience in working on Pricing Condition Techniques.
• Experience on Text Determination, Material Determination, Sales BOMs.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management, Picking, Packing, Batch Management, Output Control.
• Experience in Logistics Execution.
• Basic understanding of SAP Integration with other SAP modules like FI, MM, PP.
• This is a client facing role so excellent English communication skill is important
• The expectation is to provide L1 and L2 support and if there are complex incidents or changes, the candidate will help the customer open up a ticket in the ticketing tool
• Experience in working on any standard ticketing system eg Remedy is preferred
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. May require an associates degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager.
