Below is the JD -
Overall experience of 4-7years primarily in the Microsoft technology stack.
Should have worked on the SharePoint stack. Should have Microsoft stack Knowledge: using IIS 6.0 - Web sites, Virtual directory, Host header, Application pool.
Development and configuration experience with MOSS 2007(Server farm environment).
Development of custom SharePoint web parts using C#.
Comfortable with SharePoint 2007 object model including custom event handlers, programmatic list, content types. Implementing high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutions Unit testing for all assigned deliverables.
Knowledge of SharePoint Search.
NICE TO HAVE: Exposure to working in a multi-vendor scenario and also with enterprise customers is an added advantage.
Exposure to WWF,WCF (web services) Silverlight
SOFT SKILLS: Oral and written communication skills - Ability to communicate well on business/technology requirements.
Understanding of process methodologies, frameworks, tools is an added plus.
Any initiatives on open source forums, conferences, technical paper presentation is an added advantage.
Should be self-managed - Ability to plan/track his/her activities extremely well.
Good problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems.
